This dimension sorts historical organizations by their basic type, a guild, a religious order, a trading company or a government body. Wikipedia notes that organizations and institutions "can be synonymous," though scholars sometimes treat an organization as "a narrow version of institutions." Browsing by organization type keeps bodies of the same kind grouped together.
