All Civilizations

Broad civilizational groupings this atlas records at the coarsest scale it works, Near East and Mediterranean and other wide cultural spheres that a polity, era or figure can be placed within. Left deliberately flat rather than built into a subcategory tree: eleven live members is floor-adjacent for this render's own grouping rules, and any honest regional split at this sample size would concentrate over half the roster in a single bucket, which this atlas discloses rather than forces. This category excludes the specific polities and events within a civilization, each its own category linked back by relationship.
