Oceania and Pacific Kingdoms

The two Pacific island kingdoms recorded in this subcategory: the Kingdom of Hawaii, founded by Kamehameha I's conquest and unification of the Hawaiian archipelago in 1795, and the Kingdom of Tahiti, the Polynesian monarchy founded by Pomare I with the aid of British missionaries and traders and European weaponry. Both are placed here by their own Pacific Ocean territory, too small a set to need any further split, and both are kept apart from every continental group above since neither sits on or near any continental landmass.
