All East Asian and Pacific Republics

Modern sovereign republics of East and Southeast Asia and the wider Pacific rim, from China, the two Koreas and Mongolia in East Asia through the Southeast Asian republics of Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar and Laos to the young republic of East Timor, whose own maritime border with Australia sits south of its true home region, Southeast Asia, alongside Indonesia. The group is kept distinct from the separate Oceanic Republics group, which holds the smaller Pacific island nations further out in the ocean proper.
