South American Republics

Modern sovereign republics of South America, from the continent's two largest, Brazil and Argentina, through the Andean republics of Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile to Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Guyana and Suriname. Every member is a present-day country whose own recorded description places it on the South American continent, a comprehensive set since South America today has no monarchies among its sovereign states, only republics, and in this subcategory no members left over.
