Eras Beginning from 960 to 1250 CE

Eras that began between 960 and 1250 CE, among them the Song dynasty, the Kamakura shogunate, the Delhi Sultanate, the empire of Mali and the Mamluk sultanate. An era belongs here when its cited article gives a start date inside this span. It excludes eras that began earlier or later, which sit in the neighboring groups of the same period band, and it does not turn on how long an era lasted or how widely it is remembered. Each member is placed by the start date stated in the lead or body of the article cited for it, so the grouping rests on a quoted source rather than on a guess about the period.
