The Final Act of the Congress of Vienna was the treaty document produced by the Congress of Vienna, the series of international diplomatic meetings held from September 1814 to June 1815 to agree upon a new political and constitutional order for Europe following the downfall of the French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. The Congress, whose participants included representatives of all the European powers and other stakeholders, was chaired by the Austrian statesman Klemens von Metternich.
