The Treaty of Paris of 1856 was signed on March 30, 1856, at the Congress of Paris, ending the Crimean War that had been fought since 1853 between the Russian Empire and an alliance of the Ottoman Empire, the United Kingdom, the Second French Empire, and the Kingdom of Sardinia.
