The Kingdom of Sine was a post-classical Serer kingdom situated along the north bank of the Saloum River delta in what is now Senegal. It shared deep historical, geographic and cultural ties with its neighbor and sister state, the Kingdom of Saloum, and the two are commonly referred to together as the Sine-Saloum or the Serer Kingdoms. Sine lay to the south of the Wolof kingdoms of Cayor and Baol.
