This group gathers the international agreements and pacts of the contemporary era, 1990 onward. These are the alliances, pacts, accords and agreements between states, and the treaties of international organizations, made to govern their relations short of ending a war. A document belongs here when its cited article gives a date inside this span for the document's own signing, adoption, issue or composition. It excludes documents dated earlier or later, which sit in the neighboring period groups of the same kind. The contemporary era from 1990 onward covers the end of the Cold War, European integration, new international courts and climate and trade agreements.
