Sultana Chand Bibi was regent of the Bijapur Sultanate during the minority of Ibrahim Adil Shah II from 1580 to 1590, and regent of the Ahmednagar Sultanate during the minority of her great nephew Bahadur Shah from 1595 to 1600. She is best known for defending Ahmednagar against the Mughal forces of Emperor Akbar in 1595.
