Trung Trac, known in Vietnamese as one of the Hai Ba Trung along with her sister Trung Nhi, was a Lac Viet military leader who, with her sister, commanded a rebellion in AD 40 against the first Chinese domination of Vietnam and ruled for three years afterward. Trung Trac was the first female monarch in Vietnam, posthumously recognized as Queen Trung in the Dai Viet su ky toan thu, and both sisters are regarded as national heroines of Vietnam.
