Edward V of England

Edward V was King of England from 9 April to 25 June 1483, succeeding his father Edward IV. He was never crowned, and his brief reign was dominated by his uncle and Lord Protector, the Duke of Gloucester, who deposed him to become King Richard III. Parliament formalized the change through the Titulus Regius, which invalidated Edward V's claim to the throne along with those of his siblings; the act was later repealed under Henry VII, who married Edward V's eldest sister, Elizabeth of York.
